Wellthy launches care concierge support for families with loved ones in India

Caregiving knows no borders, time zones, countries or continents — and indeed today’s global workforce depends on having the right support for employees no matter where they live.

Wellthy’s focus — and indeed our commitment — is to continue expanding and evolving our global footprint to meet the needs of today’s market. Global support isn’t just a phrase to be tossed around — it’s a substantive and foundational part of ensuring families have the right circle of support and the right care at the right time for themselves and their loved ones.

Wellthy’s global solution — access to our Care Team for expert advice and answers to care questions, 24/7 curated content and downloadable resources and videos, virtual events and peer support groups, discussion forums with caregiving peers, and the breadth and depth of the Wellthy Community platform — is available today in 192 countries, spanning 6 continents, and is accessible 132 languages.

And today, we’re very excited to announce that we’ve officially launched our concierge support for families with loved ones in India — ensuring that Wellthy members with loved ones who need care in India have access to personalized, localized expertise to support their care needs.

This includes:

  • Access to Wellthy Care Coordinator(s) who speak English + Hindi, and who have a keen understanding of local norms and healthcare systems;
  • A digital and concierge experience available in English and Hindi — enabling families to manage care projects in their preferred language;
  • Wellthy Community and a full suite of educational and self-help resources, helping employees feel less isolated and alone and supported in caring for their loved ones living in India

Wellthy’s Chief Product Officer, Nabeel Meghji, recently moderated the webinar, “Global Caregiving: Bridging Borders and Cultures Within Workplace Benefits” and spoke about the increasing need for care support that pushes boundaries and finds ways to support employees across the world.

“Caregiving is already complicated and tough enough, and when you add geographic barriers and geographic nuances, it can be exponentially harder to navigate for today’s families and workforces,” Nabeel said.

That’s why we’re ecstatic to expand our care concierge services to support employees with loved ones in India, and to continue evolving and shaping truly global support that can meet today’s modern and diverse workforces with end-to-end care support — childcare, backup care, eldercare, self-care, and so much more — wherever they live in the world.
